Do you know what bullying is? How about cyberbullying?
Cyberbullying is using technology to make someone feel bad.
It can look like:
- Writing mean things under a picture or video online
- Sending mean messages
- Sharing embarrassing pictures
If you’re being cyberbullied, tell an adult you trust, a parent or a Club staff member. They will be able to help!
Let’s explore how we can be good digital citizens and support any friends who are being cyberbullied.
Good digital citizens ...
- Are kind
- Are respectful
- Report cyberbullying
- Don’t overshare online

Try to include:
- Who is a good digital citizen? How do they act online?
- What is cyberbullying?
- What can you do if you’re being cyberbullied?
Example poem:
We haven’t met
But you’re already being unkind
Your words come across my screen
I want to enjoy this game
But it’s not fun anymore
I’ll tell someone
Because I’m a digital citizen
- If a friend was being cyberbullied, what would you do?
- What do you think it means to be kind?
- Have you seen cyberbullying in a game or on a website? How did it make you feel?
