How engaged were your youth? (5 = very engaged)

The youth I spoke to were 7 and 8 year olds. Once we started talking the youth begin to tell me the whys' with out me asking. Asking the why behind each question actually caused them to want to engage more in the conversation and tell you so much more.
When I received an I don't know answer I pulled from them a little more to get them to engage in the conversation more. They actually knew the why and just needed a little more interaction from the adult or those around them. Each youth learned something about the other. 19/ February 2026
